Small Scale Terrace Wall

About the project

Ken had contacted us in the past for previous work, and things did not line up unfortunately due to time commitments from both parties. But when he contacted us a few months later with another project in mind, we were excited to work with him as we had spoken previously regarding this small project. When visiting the property we realized the problem immediately, the irrigation lines were too far forward, and the dirt was too high for the area right next to the pool. So, we took some measurements and got right to work designing multiple layouts at different price points and heights for Ken to choose from. Ken then made a decision, and we got right to work. How did we do it?

Some projects include many challenges, but this one had little to no challenges. We simply moved some irrigation lines, removed some dirt, built the small retaining wall, added plants, mulch and called it a day. Everyone on the team agreed that this job was fun, quick, and simple.

What we did to complete this project:

• Removed excess dirt, cleaned up the pool deck, exposed the irrigation lines.
• Relocated the irrigation lines further into the bed
• Established a base for the blocks, laid the first layer of blocks
• Continued up gluing each block to ensure minimal movement in a high traffic area like a pool
• Added proper drainage behind the wall
• Installed plants and mulch to complete this wall

Outcome

As you can see above, the wall turned out great. Ken was very happy with the results, we have gone back multiple times to install more mulch, plants, remove weeds, and more for Ken. Many of our customers come to us with skepticism from having a previous landscaper ruin their property, but once they work with us, they never have that worry again. About 95% of our customers come back to us with more work and projects, it goes to show the quality and pride we truly do take in the work we do.
