Our Powerwashing Process

FREE ESTIMATE

When you contact us for a power washing project in Pompton Plains or nearby areas, you can choose between an in-person estimate or a virtual estimate. For an in-person estimate, a crew member will meet you at your house to assess the project and give you a price instantly. For virtual quotes, you must submit photos of the project so we can send you a quote over email!

SOFT WASHING

We use Sodium Hypochlorite, commonly known as bleach, as the main agent in our soft washing process. Using industry standard ratios, SH is diluted to become a powerful cleaning chemical for removing dirt, grime, and algae safely and effectively. This naturally breaks down into salt and water within 1-2 days of our service, and all plants are pre-wet to prevent salt burning.

SURFACTANT

For particularly tough stains, we may use surfactant when surface cleaning where it is necessary. Surfactant is a much stronger chemical cleaner than SH, but it is fully biodegradable and environmentally friendly when used professionally. We protect surrounding plants and surfaces by pre-wetting them before using surfactant to protect them from direct contact, as well as by thoroughly rinsing them afterwards to dilute any residual chemicals.

POST-RINSE

After treating your house with SH, we will spend 5-10 minutes on each side continually rinsing the house siding to remove any chemical residue. This helps fully remove dirt and algae, prevent chemical stains, and dilute chemical runoff. Importantly, we also rinse your windows to prevent clouding or stains, while also giving your windows a nice shine!
